IMMORTALITY AGAINST GRAVITY – THE ENTREPRENEUR’S WAR (part 1)

Every generation has a few individuals who spawn delusions in the name of business/progress. Our generation’s syndrome happens to be ‘immortality’ dressed as innovation. There is a new tribe of entrepreneurs which is convinced that aging is a mechanical defect, gravity is an enemy of progress, and the human body is a software bug to be patched. They wage a confident ‘war’, with their billions, against the very force that holds life together, while refusing to confront the one frontier that actually defines our evolution – Consciousness. The result is a strange paradox – Longer lives with smaller souls. Better biomarkers with emptier minds. More protocols with less purpose.

The buzz around anti-gravity aging makes me wonder – why does the human mind fear entropy? Let me explain…

We have already heard about the the crazy bio-hacking experiments of Bryan Johnson, who is known to take metformin (even without any known diabetic issues) just because some random scientific study said metformin increases longevity. Now Deepinder Goyal of Zomato fame has floated a new ‘funded’ theory on the Gravity Aging Hypothesis and it has been circulating wildly, suggesting that we age because gravity slowly pulls blood flow away from the brain. The study claims that a reduction in cerebral blood flow weakens deep regions of the brain like the hypothalamus and the brainstem. The study also concludes that aging is a brain first phenomenon and is driven by gravity as one of the primary factors.

The so-called ‘research’ document, published on https://www.continue.com/gravity/origins presents bats, yoga inversions, height differences, super-agers, and inversion table experiments as supporting clues. It is a classic modern pattern. And old wine in a new bottle. And the bottles are getting more and more expensive.

Also, this is now boring – it is a classic Silicon Valley style playbook – massive funding for a tailored research which becomes the prelude to a new startup, a new product line and a new multi million dollar gamble with people’s physical and mental health. It is the same story – find a simple cause. Connect a few scattered correlations. Package it elegantly. Create a villain and offer a hack.

Let us examine this through the two lenses that matter, and the picture changes completely!

Part A. The Vedic Science lens.
Part B. The Cosmic Entropy lens.

Gravity is ‘Sankarshana.’ And is not an age threat

In Vedic cosmology, gravity is a necessary sustenance force – not a destructive force. It is called Sankarshana. It is the principle of cohesion that binds matter and consciousness into stable forms so that the soul can complete its karmic curriculum. And move on.

To look at gravity as a cause of ‘degeneration’ is a fundamental misunderstanding. In fact, the entire lens is so warped! It is like blaming the water for wetness or the fire for the heat it emanates. Gravity is the condition that makes embodied life possible. It holds the planetary systems in place and exact alignment for stability. It is the anchor that holds ‘pranic’ patterns, bodily order, and recycles the frameworks of experiences that the soul chooses for its evolution.

This new found anti-aging gang’s obsession with wanting to ‘escape’ gravity and its effects, reflects a disturbance, and a deeper disconnection from the purpose of being embodied itself.

Longevity without dharma becomes tamasic

In ancient texts, we read the stories of great demon kings who lived very long lives – they ate well, exercised, and lived rich, optimized lives. Vedic texts explain that longevity is valuable only when it serves dharma and the steady development of consciousness. The Bhagavadgita 8.19 says that in the cosmic timelines that spans billions and billions of years, which are equivalent to the life of Brahma who is the material creation representative of God, we, who live around a hundred odd years (if everything goes well), anyway keep taking birth again and again. Without development of spiritual consciousness and without finding solution for spiritual stagnation, adding a few years of life only leads to long term chaos on the planet – a degraded human life form which will exploit anything and anyone just to live those few extra years,

A long life without spiritual evolution leads to bhutva bhutva praliyate. (BG 8.19)
This is a loop without ascension.

And the modern longevity industry wants to find ‘sellable’ products for a long life without meaning. They are creating solutions that are forcefully optimizing biology without making way for expansion of consciousness. Heck, I doubt these so-called leaders even understand what consciousness means. And they are enabling a business that makes money off your physical maintenance without inner elevation. None of this is proven either.

This is the tragedy of the successful tech founders – they need a hobby at the cost of other’s well-being because their billions have bored them. Neuralink is another such experiment where thousands and thousands of animals have died gruesome deaths in the labs.

And now they are engineering an ecosystem where the body is extended. But the soul remains asleep.

Yogic Inversions already existed. And their purpose was never anti aging!

For many thousands of years, yogic postures have focused on increased blood oxygen supply to the brain – Sheershasana, Sarvangasana, Vipareeta Karani, Nauli. All these great practices have existed for millennia. They were never sold by the sages, yogis, and gurus as anti aging interventions. Their purpose was energetic and spiritual evolution. It is to help move the pranic force upwards. These asanas had several other benefits as a natural consequence of steady practice:
1. They strengthen endocrine intelligence
2. They help create internal stillness and steadiness of mind
3. They awaken higher centers of consciousness.

Modern science and some bored billionaires take the physiological residue and discards the metaphysical core of these spiritual practices and spin entrepreneurial ventures. Then repackage the leftovers as new research. This is not innovation. It is cultural extraction without due credits to God and nature!!

This is entrepreneurs trying to play God

Surya Siddhanta already describes lifespan as pre-coded

The Surya Siddhanta is a Sanskrit treatise on astronomy that comprises 14 chapter and 500 verses, covering topics such as the calculation of time, planetary motions, eclipses, and celestial bodies. It includes rules for mathematical and astronomical calculations, geometric and trigonometric methods that predate their European discovery, and astronomical data including planetary diameters and orbits. This wonderful work also outlines how lifespan is governed by karmic determinants, planetary forces, and the natural arc chosen by the soul before birth.

So what inversion protocols are we talking about? None of these pseudo discoveries of a jobless mind can override the cosmic laws. As Gandalf says in the Lord of the Rings, we are only to decide what to do with the time given to us. Else, such theories can make people, especially the younger and gullible generations, delusional about outsmarting destiny.

Cosmic and Entropy lens. Entropy is divine renewal

The problem with neo-entrepreneurs is that they disobey the eternal laws of nature and are arrogant enough to challenge the cosmic nature. One of the irrefutable laws of nature is the Law of entropy. Entropy is wrongly limited to the understanding of disorder or decay. Actually entropy is transformation. It enables renewal. Entropy is the universe’s way of recycling form so that consciousness can evolve.

It is a divine law of Creation and Renewal

To fight entropy is to fight cosmic renewal. The desire to escape aging hides a profound fear of insignificance and death of identity. This is a flaw in understanding the nature’s laws. Yes, every living form is afraid of death. It is a natural response to decay and disintegration. Living healthy, easing our journey through crisis and chaos is not wrong – in fact we should find permanent solution to such existential issues. But we are not addressing existential issues at all – we are only bothered about cosmetic band-aids to the experiential discomforts.

The problem with entrepreneurs like Bryan Johnson, Deepinder Goyal et al are that they are nurturing fake narratives to engineer immortality without understanding the purpose of mortality.

This is ego preservation disguised as science.

Aging is multi causal

Biological aging arises from many forces that interact over decades.

  1. Mitochondrial decline.
  2. Genomic instability.
  3. Epigenetic drift.
  4. Cellular senescence.
  5. Immuno-aging.
  6. Hormonal cycles.
  7. Gut brain signalling.
  8. Environmental load.
  9. Consciousness imprint.

Gravity cannot be isolated as the singular villain. It is one factor among many. Everything else they say is story – not science.

You cannot defy Gravity without destroying biological order

In space experiments, astronauts have proved the opposite of the gravity hypothesis. In microgravity, the body decays at a vert fast pace. Bones are seen to demineralize and muscles atrophy. The blood circulation weakens and the cardiovascular system is impacted as well. It is very important to note that the body is designed to function at 1G. Any meddling with that deeply impacts or even destroys homeostasis.

The deeper issue is ego resistance to entropy

People fear aging because aging threatens their long-held and well-packaged identity. And there is no clarity on what next after the body. Not because it threatens their biology. This is where YOLO-YODO philosophy gets credence. It is a lame, unevolved person’s crutch. Hang on to it by all means!

Here is the truth – the fear of entropy is a fear of ‘dissolving.’ They are afraid to confront the soul. And the emptiness beneath the noise of productivity and success.

The real work is spiritual. Not physical. And that takes guts to work on!

So, WHAT are these founders really doing??

Here is the blunt truth.

  1. Create pseudo problems so that they can create pseudo markets with pseudo/temporary/unproven solutions.
  2. Extract ancient knowledge and selling the superficial layers and calling it innovation
  3. Use scientific jargon and biology to compensate for the absence of spiritual vocabulary.
  4. Conceal their fear of mortality because they have no understanding of transcendence.
  5. Try to outrun time and encourage other gullible individuals to do the same, instead of aligning with cosmic law.
  6. Create a society and economy where people desire to live long, not live deeply.
  7. And make billions in this whole dubious process

This is the difference between modern longevity science and spiritual science. One wants to preserve the body. The other wants to liberate the consciousness. The choice is yours
