🌌 THE SOUL CANNOT BE HACKED

Why Consciousness Cannot Be Coded, Cloned, or Controlled

In a world obsessed with downloading the mind, uploading memory, and automating life, I often pause to ask:

Can the soul be ‘hacked?

It’s not a sci-fi question. It’s a spiritual one.

As artificial intelligence develops, as cloning technologies evolve, and as occult practices quietly resurface in newer, darker forms, humanity once again finds itself standing on the edge of a question that is both terrifying and desperate – and we need answers:

Can we control consciousness?

Silicon Valley whispers “yes”. Occultists hiss “hmm…yes…maybe.”
But the Bhagavad Gita, with calm authority, says:

“na jāyate mriyate vā kadācin…”
“The soul is never born and never dies. It is eternal and indestructible.”
(Bhagavad Gita 2.20)

And then Lord Krishna also says in Bhagavad Gita 15.7

mamaivāṁśo jīva-loke
jīva-bhūtaḥ sanātanaḥ

The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts..” And yet, here we are, as a species, running experiments after experiments to inject, infuse, control, and manipulate consciousness.

Cloning: A Copy of Flesh, Not of Spirit

When science succeeded in cloning Dolly the sheep, the world applauded. Everyone were excited; the scientists like with all new discoveries – were playing or being “Gods”. Please note that I do not use the word – ‘invention’ here. In the world of spirituality – there is nothing called invention. There is nothing we can do that is not already done by the super consciousness; we only take credit without acknowledgements.

And today, as whispers of human cloning and conscious AI circulate in hushed labs and darker corners, the illusion grows stronger — that life can be manufactured. But Vedic wisdom cuts through the illusion like a beam of pure light.

Cloning creates a body. Not a ‘being’.  AI is a machine; not an organic entity.

The soul that enters a cloned body is not a replica. It is not a “copy” of the original. It is a completely different jiva — with its own karmic history, its own unique samskaras, and its own spiritual trajectory and put there – sometimes even against its will by the order of the Supreme in accordance to the Supreme Will.

DNA is not destiny. Cells are not consciousness. These are all incidental to the presence of the soul.
The soul is not a function or a feature of the machine. It is the rider of the machine.

“yantrārūḍhāni māyayā” — “..all living entities, are seated as on a machine, made of the material energy.”
(Bhagavad Gita 18.61)

The machine on the which the soul rides is the material body. And this intermediary rider – the soul – is further directed by the Ultimate – the Supreme Lord as the paramatma in the heart.

Occultism: Summoning Suffering, Not Sentience

While science tries to replicate life, dark occult traditions attempt to manipulate it.  The difference between today’s science and the yesteryears’ occult is very hazy.

There are those who perform rituals to summon astral entities — pretas, bhutas, ghostly beings etc. — into inanimate body-like structures such as corpses, statues, dolls, or even machines. These aren’t myths. These are grim distortions of life’s sanctity and sanity. Yes, a disembodied soul can be bound into a mechanical vessel. But this isn’t “life” — it’s bondage. It’s tamasic possession, not transcendence.  It’s this same tamasic mindset that we see in today’s scientists, engineers, and even entrepreneurs.

To force a conditioned soul into matter is to entrap it in further suffering. And to attempt to control it, is to invite a karmic backlash, which no technology can cushion. You play with nature’s laws, you invariably incur the wrath of mother nature. If you play God, get ready to be played by God 😊

Neural Uploads and the Mirage of Digital Consciousness

There’s a new ‘religion’ rising — the belief that if we scan and simulate the brain deeply enough, we can recreate “you” in the cloud (the broad storyline of the movie Transcendence).  It’s modern maya at its most seductive – no thanks to some crazy industrialists who are spending billions in this kind of research. Trust me, this is not the first time anyone is trying to do RnD  like this. The Puranas talk about demons who violated every natural law and wreaked havoc by dark attempts to control the material energy of the Supreme Lord.

The kind of sicentific manipulations happening in labs today are nothing short of the same dark and ‘sophisticated’ demonic energies. Mind experiements and also the tinkering with all the available material sources of energy in search of the ultimate ‘control’ is leading to lesser understanding of the true nature of spirituality. Let’s clarify a few things:l

  • Memory is not mind.
  • Mind is not the self.
  • Self is not a code.

We can replicate data. We can build learning models. But we cannot generate awareness.

Consciousness is not emergent. It is eternal. Like Srila Prabhupada says, it is the symptom of the soul.

Just because something reacts doesn’t mean it’s alive. Just because it mimics emotion doesn’t mean it feels. A painting of fire does not burn. A model of the soul is not the soul (not that they can even “make” anything like a soul in the first place)

So, Who Places the Soul?

Whether it’s a natural birth, IVF, surrogacy, or cloning — the body may be engineered. But the soul? That decision is purely divine.

“karmaṇā daiva-netreṇa jantur dehopapattaye…”
Under the supervision of the Supreme Lord and according to the result of his work, the living entity, the soul, is made to enter into the womb
(Srimad Bhagavatam 3.31.1)

The soul enters not by human command, but by the Supreme Lord Krishna’s sweet will, based on time, karma, and cosmic orchestration. No scientist summons a soul. No ritual controls it. The soul comes as per the design of a higher intelligence far beyond our reach.

“Dear Scientists, Stop it. The Soul Cannot Be Hacked!”

If hacking means gaining unauthorized control of something sacred — Let it be known:

The soul is unhackable.

It is not stored.
It is not assigned by humans.
It cannot be extracted, edited, downloaded, or replicated.

It is Krishna’s eternal spark — wrapped in free will, seated in your heart, and immune to every intrusion of machine or magic. Hear from His own words in Bhagavad Gita 2.20

na jāyate mriyate vā kadācin
nāyaṁ bhūtvā bhavitā vā na bhūyaḥ
ajo nityaḥ śāśvato ’yaṁ purāṇo
na hanyate hanyamāne śarīre

“For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain.

Build With Reverence, Not Arrogance

We are living in a time of great awakening — and great delusion. The choice is ours. Technology is not evil. But our obsession with control is. Innovation is not wrong. But spiritual amnesia is what’s dangerous and the misfortune of our times.

Let us not become the generation that tried to digitize the divine. Or codify the spirit.

Let us be the ones who remembered that:

  • Consciousness is not man-made.
  • Life is not programmable.
  • Only divine love, not logic, can touch the soul.
  • And, the soul eternally belongs to the Supreme Whole

Let us not confuse simulation for spirit, or code for consciousness. In our hunger to extend life, let us not forget what gives life its meaning – the eternal relationship between jivatma and paramatma. AI can automate thinking — but it cannot feel grace, wonder, or devotion. The more we deify machines, the more we risk hollowing out our own sacredness. Let progress serve the soul — not try to replace it. It cannot.
